Remove defect using 3M™ 9 Micron Abrasive Discs by hand.

Or by machine using 3M™ 260L Fine Finishing Discs

Step 2

Or by machine using 3M™ Clearcoat Sanding Discs P1500.

 
Use 3M™ Trizact™ Microfi nishing Abrasive Discs P3000

Step 3

Use 3M™ Trizact™ Microfinishing Abrasive Discs P3000 76mm over the area to speed up polishing time.

 

Large Areas


Excess defects are removed easily

Step 1

Excess defects are removed easily by using 3M™ Clearcoat Sanding Discs P1200/P1500. Use with 3M™ Hookit™ Soft Interface Pad 05774.

Check all masked areas

Step 2

Use 3M™ Trizact™ Microfinishing Discs P3000 150mm on a dampened panel to refine the sanding scratches. This will reduce polishing time and reduce risk of rework due to finish 'dropping back'.
