3M™ Colour Shifting Authentication Products use a patented, proprietary multi-layer optical film, consisting of hundreds of layers of polymer film, to deliver a secure, visually attractive overt security solution that's easy to authenticate. The films reflect and refract light between the layers, allowing unique colour shifts to occur at different viewing angles.
End users need minimal training to authenticate the product. Typical formats include hot stamping foil, pressure-sensitive labels, overlaminants or security strips on various label stocks.
